A Fallen Angel Poem by Gage Bourkland

A Fallen Angel

A Fallen Angel

Can I compare you to a shining star
No

For you are much brighter
You shine brighter than that star can ever hope
For you are my fallen star
Of which I hold so dear
You are beheld by me as my first true love
In which I shall never out grow
You are brighter than the sun itself
For one of heavens angels has fallen to earth and into my arms
For you are my first love
You are my fallen star and I behold you as my most treasured piece
Therefore I hope to never lose you
For which my words cannot express the love I have for you
