This battle of hearts won't be won
You and I will never be one
If I can't find the light in the darkness
The place where your smile seemed so harmless
Maybe my eyes have stopped seeing
Cause your soul must have stopped being
When you asked for my trust as you betrayed it
Like you were making some kind of statement
So now, there's no right thing to say
This is child's play
And I am finished
Any chance once had now diminished
So so long and good riddance
