A Fathers Love Poem by ray wills

A Fathers Love

No tears could hide her sorrows
the hurt she feels inside
with grandiose great affection
only thoughts of pride

the footsteps down the hallway
the knocking at the door
the joys of childhood laughter
that's what love is for

the years they spent together
sailboats on the shore
the sun in all its splendor
the writings on the wall

the families reunions
the games of ecstasy
the sounds of foolish laughter
the fathers majesty

all hands were on the table
all hearts were sewn with love
all seasons of good plenty
all families of love

the carousel rides together
the splashing in the rains
the sorrows and the treasures
no love like that remains

a fathers love to cherish
to guide you on your way
a life full of sound blessings
to treasure every day
