public laundry
folding and flufing
the news



nursery shelf
a couple of China pots
filled with sunshine



steamy sidewalk
a crouching cook hoses
soapy pots



sidewalk crack
wide enough to fruit
and multiply



fruit vendor
she scoops her breast
into her bra



traditional neighborhood
foods with faded
expiration dates
