A Few Mistakes

I have made a few mistakes in my Life
And what is the worst, I continue to make
such mistakes till now which better knows my wife
but I am just going indifferent.
Mistakes I just cannot forsake.

What you call it I don't know but for me
I am quite comfortable with my mistakes
And I don't even fear that they will end up with me
Only I fear, if I forsake
I will fall in another set of mistakes.

They are after all my known set of mistakes.
By now I am getting quite handy with them.
The time of changing friends I have left behind.
Mistakes anew I fear I will not be able to digest.
So I rear them.

Which mistakes I live up with do you wish to know?
Please restrain. I am very sorry. I cannot let them fly
from eye to eye, ear to ear, mind to mind, because if I do
You will surely laugh. You will say lol and I will get angry.
So I defy.

A very amusing piece. You can be truly content only when you come to terms with the mistakes you have made. (Report) Reply

    Mistakes are great teachers...
'Anew I fear I won't be able to digest. So I rear them...'
Well, it sounds like you are worrying too much about something...
Sometimes one needs their own space to be confident, fast and efficient in getting what one needs and wants...It's difficult to move forward with unwanted pair of eyes attached to your back and holding you by your arms whenever you try to make any move...Free space around you is all you need to be free from your set of mistakes...
Interesting write...thank you for sharing... (Report) Reply

    'Mistakes I adore them
    With each pinch I blush
    Temper succumbs and I consume
Moisture in lips, I love life'

Dear Poet, this is what i wrote
    In my poem - Mistakes.

The peak point of your poem
Is your - 'Non disclosed details'
Not letting anyone laught at it.

    If so,
Then all of us have to laugh at ourselves
The degree of doctrine is same with all.

Still the feeling is same as yours.... to hide.
Hahaha...Good one indeed. Thank you. (Report) Reply

Our mistakes are part of who we are. They make us the unique person that we have become and so, are they really mistakes after all? Great poem, Palas! A '10! '

We all make mistakes. But you confess to yours in such a genuine, charming way,
that it makes you all the more likable to your readers. Fine write, Palas.
