A Fool Poem by Moana Tuigamala

A Fool

Rating: 3.8

A hidden picture drawn on your face,
To loose me is your fate.
To lie to me is your goal,
To fool me is your destiny.

Smiles that are indeed betrayal,
Words sweet as sugar Yet! are just darts.
With sharpened pointers,
Not aiming nowhere else but my heart.

Your lips tempting and I dare take them,
To meet mine and satisfy you.
To prove how good I am in that way,
Lacking to know that I'm just being a fool.

A fool being fooled right in the face,
Blinded with love that never existed.
Deceived by your eyes and words that mean nothing at all,
I had to face all this, now I don't think to take it at any risk.

I doubt if I've ever seen a writing with a better title. This is exactly what she describes. Amazing how it is done. The style is so matter of fact. I am really impressed both creatively and by the writing. Dare I say gifted. GW62
