A Fresh Resolve

It's a cool night
I seem to love it
Lets me cover myself
In a thick blanket
From all the day's
Unwelcome maladies
Inside I seem to come up
With some remedies
To solve all the world's
Unsolved problems
And wake up in the morning
With a fresh resolve
To bring peace and happiness
To all my fellow beings.

poet George Gordon Byron

It is the hour when from the boughs
The nightingale's high note is heard;
It is the hour -- when lover's vows
Seem sweet in every whisper'd word;
And gentle winds and waters near,
