A Friend Poem by Dragon Crenshaw

A Friend

Rating: 5.0

I live in a world,
Of pure Silence.
No one cares,
No one hears,
What I say,
So I just lay.

I think of running,
It's kinda funny.
All I have to do,
Is get up,
And run away.

Then I think,
'Find a bridge,
Just jump,
And it's over.'

Then I try,
But I become scared to die.

Then someone comes,
Helps me up,
Wipes the tears away,
And tells me,
'You have Beauty,
Talent,
And Intellegence.
You are YOU.'

I look up to see,
Who has helped me.
A teacher,
Who I like,
Is there.
I thank him,
And leave.
He has helped me,
He has saved me.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I was being bullied one day and my favorite teacher found me hiding behind some trash cans and talked to me. I told him I didn't want to live anymore and he said, 'Don't say that. You deserve to live more then anyone here.' He helped me up and gave me a hug. I will never forget what he did.
