A Friend
My friend I need as never before
To help me throughout the night
I feel so afraid and all alone
He will help with all his might
At times I ask to much of him
Yet I never hear him complain
Somehow he lets me know he's around
My friend my Saviour Jesus Christ
Never take him for granted
Pray for his forgiveness
And with his forgiving heart
He will always be there
