A Friend Indeed Poem by Aileen Davis

A Friend Indeed

Rating: 5.0

You came to me and made me see the person hiding deep inside me
The pictures you sent were full of dread,
put as I looked a pond them I could see the beauty you had sent to me,
you encouraged me to see the beauty of those darken dreams,
you started to write and open to me,
with this you pulled out the poet in me,
I started to write for you to see which then woken that which slept in me,
the words came out as a stormy sea all of which was a part of me,
the dam has now broken and all will now see the beauty that lay-ed deep with in me,
for a friend you were when I had become lost,
for this I will always and forever cherish this dream, which you had awoken inside of me.
