A Gentle Sob Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

A Gentle Sob

Rating: 4.1

II could not sob gently
It was heavy blow on me recently
The tears were rolling silently
I was loosing peace mentally

Each one in family was so dear
I was pleased with their voice to hear
It will ring bell in the ears
For a moment I would be taken away from the fears

As we are not accustomed to hear the news of death
It may send shiver in spine for laying the wreath
It may cause lot of pain when some one is lying dead just before you
The death is reality and you forget the essence is very true

The dying moments may upset you for simple reason
You were borne and brought up by that dear person
He or she remained close to your heart and chest
The time had come now to offer him permanent rest

What you will miss and remember?
You may be loosing head or senior member
He offered you shelter and brought you up
It may definitely be big storm in tea cup

You were adored and praised very high
How could one see silently the last sigh?
You have all along stood for and certainly sought
Took all possible care for welfare and fought

You might be provided a space in heaven
I continuously think and possibly driven
A thought in mind for your heavenly abode
A rightful place or throne provided by God

You will be buried deep under soil
My emotions may run high and boil
No one can stop that final journey
All members may watch it helplessly in the family
