A Girl In Love Poem by Za Italian Buffon

A Girl In Love

Rating: 5.0

'I'm in love'. Says she.

'I lost all traces of time,
and all my days are the same.
Though, are not, with him'.

She feels joyful,
out of reach,
Alive.

She asks me:
'why is it so?
Everything is the same,
nothing has changed,

Why is it all alive?
all my moments are intense,
full of beauty and luck.

What had happened to me?
that made me,
lucid to all.

What did I do?
to be blessed,
with such graces!
with such hope!

Everything is fine,
and I ask no more.

Where does it all come from?
is it this warmness?
so close to heart.

That I'm ageless now,
and feminine.'

'And you know what? ' Says she,
'I'm alive.
as never been before.
… But why? '

I think to myself,
speechless outside,
what to say?
to answer her.

For she told herself,
with her questions,
all the answers,
a human can ever give.

Speechless I'm still,
I bid her goodbye,
then, all alone,
I recall her eyes,
and answer: 'LOVE'.
