A Goblin Halloween

  Ghouls, monsters, demons and more
Vampire who sip on goblets of gore
Hellions, fiends, scoundrels and beasts
All gather around to join in the feast

The day is coming, hell’s children run free
Each has a plan for their own killing spree
Thirsty for blood and hungry for flesh
They’ve waited all year for a meal young and fresh

Children in costume will roam through the streets
While the goblins in shadows, drool at fresh meat
They’ll offer up treats to lure them right in
Then they’ll drain all their blood and boil off their skin

The vampires are waiting to join in the meal
To drink of the blood until they all have their fill
The goblins will gorge on blood and flesh too
And the witches will grind the bones for their stew

Nothing is wasted, there’s something for all
Every imp and villain will mix in the brawl
They’ll graze as long as the moon lights the sky
Feeding and gorging until morning is nigh

For Halloween comes just one night a year
And with the rise of the sun, they’ll all disappear
The children have gone missing, there isn’t a trace
And the demons have vanished, all evidence erased

Wowza...and I thought your last one was scarey...you've outdone yourself! ! ! Tell me...are you one of Poe's kin? ? ? Awesome tale of spookiness...going in my favorites...to read to my kids once they're a bit older!
Hugs,
Dee
