A Heart Poem by Mary Lyle

A Heart

Voice of intoxication
Glance of shyness
Touch of skin, senses elated
Blue eyes glisten
Heartpounding kiss
Closeness unexplained
Chemistry abound...
Distance sudden
Fear of feelings
Silence.
Acknowledging smile in remembrance of love
Release and wish for return
A heart exposed...
