A Hearts Cry Poem by Iselin Steinsto

A Hearts Cry

In the darkest hour
hear my cry
across the cloudy sky
It's not for love,
neither for acceptance
but for an answer
you did not reply.

Am I a fool
who waits for you?
Your are easily replaced
in my mind
But my heart recognize
that they're not
what it desires.

Men will come
and men will go
but your trace in me
will always show:
You're in my mind
and in my heart
Even though we'll always
be apart.
