A Hole In The Wall (Fun Poem 66) Poem by David Harris

A Hole In The Wall (Fun Poem 66)

Rating: 5.0

You walk beside a brick wall
always wondering what is on the other side.
As you move along a bit further
there is brick missing
leaving a hole in the wall.
Curiosity gets the better of you
and you bend down to take a peek
at what ever is on the other side.
Because I am a great big meanie,
I’m not telling you what was there.

Have you read 'Mr. Nosey'? It was one of my son's favorites. Whenever Mr. Nosey was nosey, his nose began to grow like Pinocchio's, and one day when he poked his nose into a hole in the fence, it was so long that someone on the other side accidentally hit it with a hammer. That taught Mr. Nosey a lesson. Thanks for reminding me. Fun poem. I enjoyed it. love, Allie ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

The last line is not all bad. You've allowed us all to participate by guessing what was there. A very shrewd move on your part and a great read. Thanks Richard
