A Killer Poem by Brandy Smith

A Killer

Rating: 4.0

You see them walking down street
Walking slightly off beat
You notice that they have a limp
But don't dare to give them a second glance
You hear a scream and turn around
They just killed a woman and left her dead on the ground
You see his eyes and his see yours
You get frightned when he lunges foward
He wants to tell you what it's like
That killing is his only way of life
That he has nobody for him at home
Killing is the only thing that keeps from being alone
He wants to tell you that he wants to stop
And right before he turns to leave
A gunshot wound kills his need
