how do i love someone
who hated me so?
how do i cherish thee
if you dont cherish me?
it hurts to know
i love you
it hurts to know
its not true

i cant turn my back
on you
but i cant make our
love true
you can kiss me
but it lacks a spark
you can hug me
but you dont give your heart

i wont cry
ipromise
i wont die
i promise

im not going back
to my old ways

i know what its like
you can go
ive got my poems
and my tears
i can survive without you here

my arms are staying clean
and my knife benieth my bed

ive been hurt before
i know how it feels

my hair is red to stay
and that bottle of black
hair dye will stay where it lays

i may shed a tear
cause im hurt

how do i not love
those sparkling eyes?
