Poet's Notes about The Poem

This poem was created in a strange state of pure love mixed with pain of death. Played first with my body as a creative concept of imaginary movement, a motion that a few days later wrote itself on a paper tissue. All happened before and after the big tsunami of Japan, that brought so much pain but also global waves of love and compassion. I guess this poem came with one of those waves..
Later, the kiss catcher was chosen to be played on stage as a choreographed dance, sprinkled with sign language, in an art project of Tane and also as a letter read on the stage for a few survivors of that deadly tsunami.
Am not sure why it got so much attention I suppose it may carry bits of the emotions of that particular time...

Then, all kisses! Once: kiss deep: the soul, not the skin! -Vacuum any sad cry!
most passionate write yet by ingenuity with brilliant imagery and metaphor
    kisses craves to kiss
    as ebbs cry for tide
    for heart to resonate
yet in between, vacuum croons to sing blue.

Wow! beautiful poem- seemingly romantic. but with deeper meanings.
    kiss deep:
    the soul, not the skin!
    -Vacuum any sad cry!
    Spick and span cleaned
    The heart of a child
    Once again let rise!

Yes, that is what a kiss should do- clean the heart of the partner of all the pain and agonies. Such a soothing effect the poem has on the reader, that I enjoyed reading it many times over.

The presentation and phrasing and vocabulary and quite dramatic. It is small wonder that it could be played on the stage and enjoyed and appreciated. Good work Congrats.10.

This is a truly great poem. You may be writing about a child, or the heart of a child in any or all of us. A kiss catcher...can this also be a dream catcher? Wonderful poem. (Report) Reply
