A Kiss I Send Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

A Kiss I Send

A kiss I send to you
To heal your heart so blue
Though you don't realize
I feel such good in you

So hard to belong to someone
And to feel love for more
I swear my heart
Is just an open door

I am bound to no one
My heart is only shared
I've given a piece to everyone
Those for whom I've truly cared

And though you don't realize
You sparkle in my eyes
And give my emotions impetus
To rise

So on your lovely forehead
I softly plant this uninvited kiss
With all wishes for your happiness
And dreams of your tenderness

I'm not yours
You're not mine
Tears of sadness we shall not pine
Just let our hearts for a moment entwine

This heartfelt moment frozen in time
Where dreams find life
fly freely and shine
In a heartbeat full of love sublime

A kiss I send
To bring us mend
A friend at heart
On that you may depend
