I ignore them who ignore me
I hate them who hate me
I part with them who part with me
I attend them who attend me
I love them who love me
I unite with them who unite with me
For I am neither a saint nor an apostle
I am an ordinary man
Trapped in the net of false ego and pride
I do love God but on my terms.
Cute. I love your last line for it's honest dishonesty. We think to love the Lord, but on our terms He does not call it love. Your comparison of all things...returning sentiments as they are given is delightfully common, as the way of mankind. I enjoyed it. The Lord's Way is thus so much higher than ours, when, loving His enemies in saving them, He likewise commands them to do the same, by His grace.

This is the poem of real life reflection and the poet do it with understandable words but with solid and affirmative style. What they get is from what they give. Nothing less but more to be expected from a circle of life. Excellent, my friend.
