A latte 'neath the summer sun Poem by Just Lonely Me

A latte 'neath the summer sun

Rating: 4.5

A latte 'neath the summer sun
Was where the two of us were one:
Where verses sang with dual tune
And where the time ran out too soon...
A plaited echo sails the seas
To wrestle me down to my knees...
I cannot understand the way
You simply threw my heart away...

First, the title is very original and encouraging to read. Second, I feel you are my kindred spirit :) Your poem is very gentle, soft and mild the way a beautiful, fragile cup of the best coffee could be. Very nostalgic...
