A Letter With Love Poem by Jasmine Brown

A Letter With Love

I think of you

In my darkest days

How did I lose you?

Why am I in the shades?

You took me places I have never been

Adventures I have never lived

You adored my skin

Never felt so loved

You would do anything for me

And never ask for something in return

Your only goal was to keep me safe

Like you were made of iron

In the cold nights

You kept me worm

Holding me close

Protect me of fire so I won't get burned

Every day at work

I cry alone

Seeing you with your girlfriend

Makes me cut myself to the bone

What I did was wrong

I know that now

Wish we could work it out

But I broke the vow

I will always love you

I hope you understand

That what I did was a mistake

It wasn't planned

I meant to talk to you in person

But I made this instead

If you're reading this

It means I'm dead
