A Lie In The Flight Of A Fly Poem by Amelia Wasiluk

A Lie In The Flight Of A Fly

Rating: 4.8

I do not know why I followed a fly.

I do not know why he swallowed the fly.

Because he could not bare to see his own lie.

I do not know why I came to this fly.

Because I enjoyed the lie that came from this fly?

Now that I know why, I DO NOT want to lie.

The title of your poem caught my attention. The poem itself was enjoyable to read and the note at the end, poignant.
