A Life I Desire Poem by Bilal Khoukhi

A Life I Desire

Rating: 5.0

Deep down I ask if I am looking, Am I looking?
Looking to find, or to be found I am looking?
Inside my chest my heart is glass, is it broken?
I am not broken, I am sure, here is my token

The strength I have, my confidence, cannot be taken
On one knee I am one day you are on two no joking
I love adventure, I will explore, I will be gentle
You know I know you wanna give in and just surrender

It will be my life and yours to live, not the haters
Open your eyes and watch them disapprove, who cares
You love adventure, close your eyes and feel it tingle
I promise I will be gentle, but am I looking?
