A Life So Feeble And Sombered Poem by Jay Boyd

A Life So Feeble And Sombered

Rating: 5.0

Let my calloused heart
be so favorable spared
Its old, coarsed and feeble
like a weary mongrel
Its laid to rest
but let his tale be truthfully told
as slow and sombered
as a song or a mighty and blightful
warriors hold
a life so feeble and sombered
distilledthe crisp death
a man so sorrowfully grieves
for the one he selflessly loves
his weathered eyes shall see
Foretold! it to be
at last i ask
do you love me?

interesting...your poems are depressing yet inspiring. I didn't think that was possible but I guess it is. All of them are beautifully written, especially this one.
