A Life That's Full And Whole Poem by A. P. Hancock

A Life That's Full And Whole

Let's take a wild, exciting trip, to find a treasure rare
I have the map that shows the place, I know the gold is there

The trip is not an easy one, at times we'll shed our Tears
Pain and Trouble will come our way, along with Doubts and Fears

At times we'll wonder where we are, and swear that we are lost
We'll try the north the east and west, go back where we have crossed

We'll fight desires to turn and run, but not give up or hide
And when we face the Worry fiend, old Courage will be our guide

We'll battle all the other foes, and journey toward the prize
We'll set our minds and hearts on course, we'll show determined eyes

And when we reach X marks the spot, and almost lose control
We'll see the treasure as it is, a life that's full and whole
