A Likeness Of Thee Poem by Paul Grandi

A Likeness Of Thee

Precious Jesus, Lord Jesus
I kneel before Thee
A weak, helpless human
Not worthy, not clean.

Darkness governs but for you,
Love's gospels... Lost!
Absent guidance from Your light,
Eternal my cost.

Dwell within me dear Jesus,
Help me see, help me be,
Just as much as I'm able
A likeness of Thee.
