A Little Buddha Poem by Paul G. Kallen

A Little Buddha

Rating: 5.0

He is a knot of Global Spirit Net
Born to unite not to “divide and rule”.
He says, our life must be reset
Or we die as fish in a dried-up pool.

Once in Nepal there lived a prince
Raised with reverence in luxury and joy.
Suffered no pain, he was convinced
The life would always seem a toy…

By Antoine de Saint-Exupery,
The little prince’s planet was too small.
He had to keep it bad plants free,
The baobabs had no chance at all.

My hero read texts by both the men,
He is rather a scholar in Buddhism.
But he displays much greater acumen
In Antoine de Saint-Exuperism.
