A Little Earthworm Poem by Juan Olivarez

A Little Earthworm

Rating: 5.0

A little earthworm,
Popped out of the ground.
And his little smile,
Turned into a frown.

Standing above him,
Was Robin red breast.
With his beady eyes,
And a puffed out chest.

And the last thing the earthworm,
Would ever do,
Was say, ' This is for the birds, '
As he was bit in two.
