A Little Sight Poem by jess deaves

A Little Sight

A small inextrodinary sight to the unknowing
The same sight sears pain through my chest
Attempting to keep the heartache from showing
But the feelings keeps growing deep within my breast

Two solitary cups upon a wooden table
Whispers of recent memories echo my being
Mu chest tightens emotions unstable
Two ghostly silhouettes i am seeing

The tinlge of cold sends shards on lonliness within
Warmth from the passing day is far beyond my reach
Hair stands upright on my skin
Falling tears leave me incapable of speech

Your smell still lingers on my clothes now
Its perfection a strain to the senses
Even though in this pain of loss this i still allow
Alone, again, by myself i can dropp my defences
