A Little Thought.... Poem by harsimran kaur

a little thought sprouting in my mind
in this forest of big trees
some of those i remember
some of those had became free
but i know
they are there
where no bird could sit
no sun ray can brighten it

a little thought sprouting in my mind
it is trying to
trying to come out
spread its leaves;
with a new ray of light
and from this
i believe;
this forest will be bright
from this ray of light
its small twigs
will break
the wall of glass
between this forest and world
and then spring will herald
in this forest present in dark
a little thought sprouting in my mind
will rise with a new sun shine.
