A Lonely Girl Poem by Billy Loving

A Lonely Girl

Face in a dream
Image from long ago
Skin the color of cream
A radiant glow
Enticing perfume permeates the air
Light blue piercing eyes
Perfectly groomed curly blonde hair
Alone she sits and cries
Longing in her soul
Someone long since past
Unable to console
How long will it last?
Silently, I stand and wait
As the scene starts to dissipate
