A Long Birthday Poem by LLDr. Gyd

A Long Birthday

I woke up with imaginary sounds
In my mind,
That beat my heart synchronized
and blew my soul awake.
Birds chirping and mice sqeaking
Drums rolling and trumpets blowing,
All hummings a melody far gone.

For a long while now,
It has been like vacuum between us,
From peaks to grasslands, I might claim
And yet we frame normal.
It has been a love long muttered,
From full to empty: our cup
And yet we frame peace.
But may it storm, may it blunder
I know nothing will stop my thoughts of you,
Nothing could make my mind quit
Calendering for this special day
Nothing can make me forget you,
So I decided to errand on this news
For that's my key for another year
Maybe I was sent, but
I came on my own will, only to say
and wish to some special piece of my heart
I almost long lost....
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
