A Love Poem By Jennifer Guillard Poem by Johnny Hill

A Love Poem By Jennifer Guillard

Enveloped in the stone of hurt, past pains, and fears; he caused a crack to form.
His openness, sincerity and gentleness allowed the rays of light and love to seep through to her soul and spirit.
Her memories of brokenness broken down down and she is starting to remember true love.
Her heart beats stronger with every interaction, breaking the stone piece by piece.
Her quench for understanding, appreciation, chivalry, and love is trickled with the drops of his heart, his attentiveness, his desires to be loved.
She begins to bloom, breaking the very stone casing she created to protect her heart.
Her petals turning and facing his direction, just as a rose turns towards the sun desiring the very light created by God Himself.
Her prayers of love are being answered, her needs of provision for her soul are being fulfilled.
His laugh, heart, smile, eyes, scent, walk, spirit and soul all now resonating in her mind, body and spirit.
Her prayers transformed to the desires of what God has in store for them.
She breaks free from the stone, her petals wide, full, and open. Her heart, soul, and spirit now in full bloom, facing the one that walked into her light.
