A Love That Grows Poem by Edwina Reizer

How can all of the times we've had
be forgotten or turn out sad?
We met so long ago it seems
and yet this love we're in still beams.

Time has made us grow much closer.
It's given us memories even rosier
than all the times when we were lost,
forgetting the emotional pain it cost.

Our love is special for we never forgot
how to please each other when we tied the knot.
We kept love alive by doing that
and so we find that where we're at

is how we did begin you know,
willing to change and willing to grow.
And yes we've come a long, long way
and together we start each brand new day.
