Masterful imagery. You invoke the frustrations and anguish that we all feel when our worlds are turned upside down. Outstanding poem.

Rani, you have captured the torment and agony we go though at some point in life. the metaphor of the mad bird has been very skillfully employed to convey your state of mind.
Vidi Writes (5/5/2008 12:58:00 PM)
There is gloom time in everyone's life
Once you get pinched to the pain most...

You go out of the way
You try the unconventional way...

If you retain the enthusiasm
At any cost of time and space
you will be blessed with
Spectrum of ways
To caml yourself.

Everyone becomes a Mad Bird
One or the other time
But how you find direction
Relies, all, on your weight.

Nice one.Thank You.
David Desantis (5/5/2008 10:24:00 AM)
This is an interesting metaphor, I've never really thought about it, but the idea of a mad bird flying directionlessly is quite intriquing. Great poem, your feelings are conveyed well, i hope you feel better

I think that one reason to write poetry is to work through our conflicts. It is nice of you to make a confession and share your turmoils with us. We have much in common.
