A Maintenance Worker Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

A Maintenance Worker

Oblivious to the suffering and pain all around, a maintenance worker rakes leaves out from around desert landscapes, totally into his own thoughts and life.
It's not his fault though, because we are all such self-absorbed people, living in our own worlds, trying to exist in spite of others around us.
