A Man In A Boat With Nowhere To Go And Everywhere To Be Poem by Alec Witthohn

A Man In A Boat With Nowhere To Go And Everywhere To Be

Mountains of gray
Water.

He peaks over
Collected;
Bobbing in and
Out.

Fishing rod extended.

Hidden behind, white
Beard;

Glowering, red eyed.

Subtly surprised by
Isolation.

Under thundering, hungry
Clouds.
