A Matter Of Life And Death Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

A Matter Of Life And Death

Covid-nineteen is no joke,
It is a global concern;
Causing servitude or yoke,
This virus we must discern.

The whole world is in panic,
Doing all to fight the threat;
Methods are systematic,
To be free from woes and fret.

World Health Organization
Is searching for a vaccine;
To combat the infection,
A ship is in quarantine.

This problem is just serious,
We should all work hand in hand;
We will emerge victorious,
Obeying the right command.

Proper hygiene is vital,
So is the immune system;
This disease is so fatal,
We should defeat this mayhem.

There must be no time to waste,
The enemy multiplies;
Everything must be in place,
So that no more patient dies.

O my goodness. It's a timely piece discussing the threat of the time. I value the rhythm and rhyme scheme. Do more, Poet.10++
