A Measure Of Peace Poem by Claude Simpson

A Measure Of Peace

I seek love
To have and give;
So precious so true
A love for me and you.

I seek joy
To have and share;
To keep me cheerful
For you my dear.

I seek hope
To have and behold;
To keep me strong
When I am old.

I seek wisdom
To be prudent and wise;
To give light
Through the veil of disguise.

I seek righteousness
As a clothing for the soul Devine;
Where love, joy, hope and wisdom
Are woven fine.
