only few moments were given for us

we met at out friends birthday party

atleast we should have spoken a word

alas........even that didnt happen in that cursed moment

i didnt count the innumerable emotions flew between us

how many meanings did our eyes exchange

you sipped beer, not taking eyes from me.

your curly hair

pea shaped face

delicate lips

starry eyes

they raised me to heaven

even when i was dancing with my partner

i was thinking of you

if i had placed my arms over your shoulders

closely following your dance steps.

how short was our union

yet even after all these years

i bear this pain

i have even forgot your face completely

but the emotion you showered in my heart?

is this love?
