A Memory Poem by MOLOY BHATTACHARYA

A Memory

Rating: 5.0

They came
They saw
They conquered,
They stole
The soft hearts
Of chirpy children.

They came
As outsider
And we knew not
How they became
Our own family.
This is Maya
Or universal bond
Of human relationship.

From tomorrow
Their duties
As creators
Will be over,
But they will
Leave us with
Sweet memories
That must stay ever.

The philosophical treatment of how a family comes into being and how it departs. Thanks a lot: Our own family / This is Maya / Or universal bond / Of human relationship /... Sweet memories That must stay ever.
