A Million Eyes Poem by Justin Gildow

A Million Eyes

They know the truths
They know the lies
They know what you've done
They know what I've done
We can't hide anything from them

A million eyes see all
A million eyes know all

We both feel naked, scared, and sacred
Yet we wonder if it's more of a joy to be alive
Or more of a joy to pretend we're dead
With our every move being watched by a million eyes

Unbelievably
And unfortunately for us
The million eyes see all
The million eyes know all
