A Mind Is Free Poem by Anil Kumar Panda

A Mind Is Free

Rating: 5.0

My mind does not have a kingdom of its own
Around the globe, deep into the sky
It is free to roam and fly

My mind does not need your words or set of rules
It plays as a child in the rain
Can dive to seek pearl in the depth of ocean

Your cannons and balls can wipe out kingdom great
My mind stands high in the face of sorrow and gloom
Only flowers of love it helps to bloom

The fetter of hate you use is just like dry straw
My mind can't be held by any bondage
It is not a bird you make captive in a cage

Free it would remain forever free to choose its place and deed
Ready to die fighting for those who their freedom earnestly need.
