A Mirror Poem by Elena Sandu

A Mirror

Rating: 4.3

The mirror will never reflect
the whole true us,
but only one surface
which is never the same,
everything is changing
with every minute to pass
slowly, or fast.
What a mirror does
is to catch one moment
of one certain thing.
In night time,
or the time that is entirely ours,
or in meditation state like,
when we can untie
from the chains of this world
and see ourselves different,
not through the mere mirror
of humans created memory,
but through the eternal mirror
of the Universe.
In night time, or I would say
the dreaming time,
may I guess that we can see
own gorgeos beauty
not only aknowledged,
but also embraced.
My Dreams might be
true mirrored me,
try take a glance,
You see?

This beautiful poem reminded me directer Andrei Tarkovsky's movie 'The Mirror' & director Bahman Ghobadi's movie 'Turtles can fly'.
