A Moment Away Poem by Diana van den Berg

A Moment Away

Leaf, brown-curled,
lifting softly,
seductively,
wind-floating,
sixties’ tune,
velvet-voiced,
feather-finger touch
on a waiting shoulder,
oh, yes, I will dance with you
and the life behind things.
