A Moment In Time Poem by Garry Ventura

A Moment In Time

She moved slowly,
Through the lot.
Our eyes locked,
But for a moment.
As she passed me by.

With head hung low.
She scurried onward.
Trying to pretend,
she did not see.

But for that moment,
That single moment,
She could not lie.
And away she went,
With no goodbye.
