A More Violent Place Poem by Jamie Dewyer

A More Violent Place

apply a state to others
against their state
of value

without worth inherent
a victim is a frame
-a snapsnot of calamity
a blurb
one some sociopath social network

the earth keeps getting darker
more violent by the hour
the lands that once brought bounty
now only used to torture

the reaper leaves no trace
the monster wears your face
the sadness becomes faith
we're fighting for last place
