A Morning Meditation Poem by Terrance Tracy

A Morning Meditation

Rating: 3.5

At the beginning of each day every tree has a melody performed by the birds of the air.
In the morning air you can hear Jays call as we sense the coming of fall.
Mockingbirds initiate their deceit to attract a mate fly to his feet.
Spring and summer has reduce the number of warbles of seasonal Cardinals.
These wonderful melodies our Lord has provided for thee as a remedy for days of impressions that ease our depressions as we hear the celebration of our Lord's loving care performed by the songs of the birds of the air.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Inspired by the chorus: This is the day that the Lord has made.
On the acre of land on which I live there are numerous trees; each tree one could hear the numerous species of birds filling the air with their songs. A melodious fanfare that filled the air emanating from each tree a different melody to accompany my walk in the cool autumn morning. In spite of my present-day afflictions the Lord's creation gave me peace with each painful step. If one could open his ears to hear what the Lord has sent your way to help you enjoy each day.
